Dr. Edward J. Ray dedicated more than three decades to Ohio State, including 16 years as chair of the Department of Economics and later as Executive Vice President and Provost. Through his generous support of the Department of Economics, Dr. Ray recently established an endowed fund that provides flexible resources to assist students facing emergency financial needs and offers supplemental support for faculty and staff. His enduring commitment reflects a lifelong belief in expanding opportunities for students and strengthening the academic community.
