Help the Student Farm Grow
Description
The OSU Student Farm is a living classroom and research hub, supporting innovative projects focused on urban agriculture, soil health, food systems education, resource conservation, and student learning.
- Last year alone, the OSU Student Farm, produced more than 1,500 pounds of fresh produce, including peppers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, kale, carrots, beets, and more.
- Of that, over 700 pounds of produce were donated to the Buckeye Food Alliance and All Peoples Fresh Market, helping strengthen food access in our community.
- And it’s the people that make it possible. More than 40 student and community volunteers gained hands-on experience in sustainable food production while supporting the farm's daily operations.

$15
That's a Lot of Fresh Food
A gift of $15 can help purchase growing media for seed starting, giving crops the strong foundation they need to thrive. Building on increased production each season, the Student Farm harvested 1,500 pounds of fresh produce in 2025.
$40
It's the People
You gift of $40 helps cover materials needed to extend irrigation systems, improving watering efficiency and supporting the work of the 40+ volunteers who helped make last year's production possible.
$150
And We're Only Talking Onions
Your gift can be used to supply packaging materials, helping us safely distribute fresh produce to community members. Last season alone, the farm harvested more than 150 pounds of onions, and every harvest needs to be packed and delivered.
$250
You + 39
If just 40 donors give $250, the Student Farm could fund a new produce washing station, helping us clean, process, and distribute even more fresh food to our neighbors while improving food safety and efficiency.
$600
Vitamin C, anyone?
A $600 gift helps replace high tunnel plastic, extending the growing season and supporting increased production of crops like tomatoes. Last year, the Student Farm produced more than 600 pounds of tomatoes, much of which found its way onto healthy plates across our community.
