Last Chance to Sign the National Coming Out Day ad in the Lantern

October 11th, 2018 is the last day to show your support for National Coming Out Day and support scholarships for LGBTQAI+ students at Ohio State.  Since 1990, Scarlet & Gay has published an ad in The Lantern for National Coming Out Day (10/11).  Help Ohio State set itself apart as an inclusive and welcoming home for the LGBTQAI + community. Greetings 2017 supporters of the National Coming Out Day Ad,

Great news: the 2018 NCOD ad goes live on September 14, 2018 and we hope to achieve the ambitious goal of $17,500 for LGBTQAI + Scholarships for current and future OSU students.  Please mark your calendar for the 14th, and as always, Go Bucks!

The response has been broad and generous.  Thank you one and all.  We are so close.  Take a minute and challenge 2 or 3 of your colleagues and friends to support scholarships for LGBTQ community members and their allies.  

Then look for your name, and their names in The Lantern on Tuesday!

Thank you to the Department of Athletics; Arts Administration, Education and Policy, and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for their generous leadership gifts.  We're so close to reaching $10,000... help get the word out so we can break through that benchmark by the end of the day.

Thanks to the College of Social Work, the Office of Student Life and the Graduate School we are now within striking distance of the 1/2 way mark to our goal.  Take a minute (maybe during halftime) and post, tweet, email, call, write, text your friends to add their support to the NCOD Ad.
