Give Kids a Smile 2019

Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) is a nationwide American Dental Association project with the main goal of providing free dental care to children in need. Since the program’s launch in 2003, GKAS has managed to provide free care to over 5.5 million children! This program is ran by dentists all across the country in their respective offices. Here at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry however, we run two yearly GKAS events that are entirely organized by a team of dental students! This year alone, our student body is on pace to deliver free treatment to over 250 children. 

Tooth decay is the single most common chronic childhood disease today and because of this, the importance of this organization can not be overlooked. Each year the student leadership team is responsible for raising the money to cover any expenses of hosting the events and providing dental treatment to the children who need it the most. This is where we need support from people like you! Your contributions will extend to improve the lives of so many children in the Columbus area. We thank you for your consideration in supporting such a fantastic cause!
