Our Crowdfunding Groups
The winter GKAS event was a HUGE success! With the help of our great student body and faculty here at the college, we were able to provide over $28,000 in free dental care to 100 kids! We are so excited about this years success and we are just as excited for your support of our project! With the help of donors like yourselves, we will be able to continue to spread the generosity to families in need all around the Columbus area!
During the event we were able to get a quick interview with a volunteering senior hygiene student and her patient to give you all a quick glimpse of how helpful the GKAS events are to the families that make it out to see us!
As GKAS is entirely ran by our student team, the preparation for each event is extensive. Here you can see just a glimpse of the labor that was behind the scenes of our winter event! In the time lapse video (the first link shared), our whole team spent an afternoon putting together procedure bags with all of the necessary dental materials that our student dentists would be using on the day of the event. The night before the events each year we set up every single operatory in the college of dentistry in preparation for the next morning! All of this hard work leaves our team very proud of the work that is accomplished through GKAS and we are so thankful for donors like you for allowing us to continue to do what we love!
