Support the LGBTQ Community at Ohio State by contributing to the National Coming Out Day Advertisement, coordinated by Scarlet and Gay: The Ohio State LGBTQ Alumni Society.

Since 1990, members and friends of Ohio State’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community have published an ad in The Lantern for National Coming Out Day (NCOD). The deadline to donate and have your name appear as a supporter in the NCOD Ad is Sunday, October 4, 2020. The NCOD Ad will be run in the Lantern on October 15, 2020. 

NEW THIS YEAR: For our 30th anniversary, in recognition of the need to address structural racism and promote social justice, the Board of Governors of Scarlet and Gay voted to donate the proceeds from this year's fundraiser to support our Scarlet and Gay Scholarship for Queer People of Color (QPOC). Our goal is to be able to award up to 8 scholarships at $2,500 each ($20,000 total).

We appreciate your previous donation and support of this ad. We also ask that you encourage other supportive members of our community to contribute to the ad through personal contacts or sharing this information on your social media.
