Support the LGBTQ Community at Ohio State by contributing to the National Coming Out Day Advertisement, coordinated by Scarlet and Gay: The Ohio State LGBTQ Alumni Society.
Since 1990, members and friends of Ohio State’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community have published an ad in The Lantern for National Coming Out Day (NCOD). The deadline to donate and have your name appear as a supporter in the NCOD Ad is Sunday, October 4, 2020.
NEW THIS YEAR: For our 30th anniversary, in recognition of the need to address structural racism and promote social justice, the Board of Governors of Scarlet and Gay voted to donate the proceeds from this year's fundraiser to support our Scarlet and Gay Scholarship for Queer People of Color (QPOC). Our goal is to be able to award up to 8 scholarships at $2,500 each ($20,000 total).
Join us in supporting Ohio State’s LGBTQ community by donating to this year’s ad which will be run in the Lantern on October 15, 2020. If you have any questions concerning the NCOD Advertisement, please contact Brian Orefice, Vice President of Scarlet & Gay Alumni Society.

ONE MORE THING: We also encourage alumni and current students that are part of the LGBTQ community (including allies) to self-identify through the alumni association to receive communication regarding Scarlet and Gay events and leadership opportunities: go.osu.edu/lgbt.
