The Ohio State Men's Water Polo team is a student run organization that strives to compete at the highest level against teams all across the nation. We have 29 players from all around the world, some who have competed for 8+ years and others who are playing for their first time. Our team focuses on being as competitive as possible while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere for our players.
This year, the team decided to make a bold change; we switched conferences from the Great Lakes Division to the Big 10. This change means tougher competition against bigger schools and more traveling. We believe that the Big 10 conference will allow for our team to train better for a successful run at nationals. This year, the Big 10 Championship Tournament will be held in none other than Ann Arbor, hosted by TTUN. We will go head to head with rivals such as TTUN themselves, as well as Michigan St. in order to secure a spot at the National Collegiate Club Championship.

In 2019, Ohio State made the official switch to the Big 10 Conference to increase competition and rivalry.
The Buckeye Water Polo players will spend about 70 hours in the water practicing this semester.
The Scarlet and Gray teams have scored a comnbined 141 goals in the past two tournaments.
A full set of water polo caps consists of 22 players, the amount the will travel on the Scarlet team.
Every day to start off practice, the Buckeyes swim a cool 500 yards to warm up.
