In just seven days, our Buckeye community will come together to support the care providers who are working long hours in difficult conditions to respond to a surge in COVID-19 cases.
This GivingTuesday, help us provide much-needed support, such as fresh meals, safe rest areas, and mental health services, for our medical professionals at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
We want to thank you for your past generosity, especially during times like these. Now, our care providers face unprecedented hospitalizations for COVID-19 patients. They are working long hours in difficult conditions. Your gift can help them stay well and continue to provide excellent care.

Since March, our teams at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and our incredible community have come together to provide innovative solutions to complex problems. Our supporters donated more than 11,000 meals to Wexner Medical Center health care workers. Overall, more than $2.5 million was raised to support COVID-19 immediate needs for health care workers and COVID-19 research and public health projects. Additionally, hundreds of units of blood were donated at drives across central Ohio. Thank you for your support.
On May 5, we celebrated #GivingTuesdayNow. Thanks to the generosity of all our donors, we came together to fuel medical research to address COVID-19’s impact and celebrate the frontline workers in our communities.
Together as Buckeyes, we’re grateful for the support of donors like you who collectively made our #GivingTuesdayNow a huge success.
Your gift – whatever the size – makes a difference. Your gift to the Wexner Medical Center is helping to purchase ventilators, costs associated with telemedicine and other needs in the wake of COVID-19. Your gift supports our frontline health care works with medical supplies, food, and efforts to support their physical and mental well-being. Your gift helps with the 60+ COVID-19 related research projects across the Wexner Medical Center and Health Science Colleges. And your gift will allow us to support and help educate and empower the public with plans to safely reopen the places we work and play.
