Congratulations everyone, we did it! 

The Dr. Scott Bennett Scholarship Fund in Equine Veterinary Medicine has officially reached the minimum balance needed to convert to a full endowment! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this fund, we would not have reached this milestone so quickly without you!

Since the fund reached this minimum prior to year-end for 2021, this means the scholarship fund will be presented at the next Ohio State Board of Trustee's meeting in February where it will become an endowment. The endowment will then begin generating an annual distribution to be used as a scholarship, ensuring Scott's legacy at the college and in the profession forever.

From here, our task will be to grow our support so the annual distribution will continue to grow and provide more scholarship support to students in need. 

Thank you again to everyone for supporting this fund so far! We are so excited to see where we can go from here to support the next generation of Equine Veterinary Surgeons in Scott's honor!
