Ohio State Lima is participating in the Scholarship Challenge, a grassroots fundraising effort led by Ohio State’s first lady, Veronica Meinhard, in support of President Johnson's Debt-free Initiative. All gifts made to designated Lima scholarship funds through our Buckeye Funder project will be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000 thanks to the generosity of local champion donors, meaning that your support will help us raise $200,000 or more for scholarships!
The fun
ds selected for the Lima Scholarship Challenge will support students who face additional barriers to earning a degree, including those who are first generation college students. Support can also be pledged to those students who are pursuing majors that address workforce challenges for the region such as engineering, healthcare and science and technology.
Regional campuses play a significant role in providing affordable access to an Ohio State degree as part of the University's land grant mission. The Lima Scholarship Challenge leverages the strength of our Buckeye family and the extended communities we serve.
More than 28% of Ohio State Lima's students are Pell eligible, meaning they demonstrate financial need.
Ohio State Lima has been providing access to high quality education for 61 years.
