Thank you! The Lima Scholarship Challenge met its goal of matching the $100,000 pledged by local alumni and friends, thereby raising more than $200,000 for Lima campus student scholarships! This initiative was led by Ohio State's First Lady, Veronica Meinhard, and directly supports President Johnson's debt-free initiative, the Scarlet and Gray Advantage. The Lima Scholarship Challenge has experienced tremendous success in its final days, thanks to those who believe in the power of higher education and scholarship support. One of the groups of students we have aimed to support through this challenge is that of first-generation college students. The Lima Scholarship Challenge aims to alleviate student debt and fuel the Lima region with graduates ready to take on the most in-demand careers. A portion of the designated funds will support students who are pursuing degrees associated with the region's largest industries and top-growing industries.
