Congratulations, Class of 1981! We shared earlier this summer that through our partnership and collaboration, our class met the minimum requirement to establish a scholarship endowment. This fund will provide vital scholarship support for current DVM students, ensuring sustained support year after year. Our fund, now officially named The College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 1981 Scholarship (Fund #48243), will help students indefinitely. Our heartfelt thanks to each of you who contributed. Your generosity has made a lasting impact on students for years to come.
As we celebrate this accomplishment, our excitement grows. The fund now holds an impressive $106,254. But we cannot stop here. With your continued support, we can expand this scholarship, creating even larger opportunities for more students. Let’s shape the future of our alma mater, our profession, and countless students’ lives.
While the scholarship awarding process for 2024-2025 has already taken place, we eagerly anticipate introducing you to the inaugural recipient next summer.
Our education equipped us with essential tools for success. Through this scholarship, we’re committed to extending that same experience to current students. As the college strives to eliminate one year of tuition for every veterinary student, our scholarship plays a vital role. Your continued support allows our scholarship to flourish and benefit more students each year.
Thank you for making a difference and paying it forward to the next generation of Buckeye veterinarians!
Congratulations once again!
