Check back here for updates! <strong>Why Scholarships? </strong> The College of Veterinary Medicine holds an ambitious goal of eliminating a year of tuition for every student, meaning it will be providing a total of $5.8M a year in scholarship dollars. This next academic year, the college will be distributing $3.65M in scholarship dollars. This number has increased significantly from $340,000 awarded eight years ago. Scholarships have become important now more than ever as two of three Ohio State veterinary students graduate with over $200,000 in student loan debt. Many of the students end up paying back double what they borrowed which could end up being around $400,000. In state tuition is around $64,000 for the first three years of veterinary school and about $89,00 for the fourth year due to an additional summer semester.
