We are reaching out to let you know that a very special day is happening on campus soon. Ohio State’s first ever Day of Giving, a 36-hour event starting on February 14! This is a great opportunity for all Buckeyes to come together and create a tremendous impact on campus. We are especially excited because Fisher College of Business will be raising funds for global business scholarships!
And, once again all gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar and go to support students exploring & experiencing business around the world.
We have a request. Would you consider being an ambassador? Our cause will be greatly impacted by our donors sharing their story, why you chose to give and pushing that message out to your networks. Whether that be through email or posting on LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. Can we call on you once more to help pay forward for more Buckeyes to have the life--and career--changing opportunity to say yes to a global experience?

For your support during our crowdfunding campaign - we exceeded our goal and together with the match we've raised an additional $16,210 dollars for students to pursue global business education opportunities!
We greatly appreciate your support and the opportunities these gifts will afford fellow Fisher students. More students will get to SAY YES to pursue their passions, broaden their global mindset and develop their leadership skills. More students will choose to participate in an international internship or travel with their classmates to present projects to international companies. Because of you, more of us will engage with the global business community.
In the future, we've asked our friends at the college to provide our project donors with updates on how these funds are impacting our fellow students at Fisher. Those updates will be posted here.

We have surpassed our goal! A special thank you to our donors for helping us raise over $8,000 in scholarships for our fellow students to pursue global business opportunities. And as you know, these gifts are being matched dollar-for-dollar. Which means with about a week left to go the impact is well over $16,000!
In addition to this great news, our team member Chris Schoo made a video to say thank you.
We'd also like to take this time to share from another of our donors about what having a global mindset means to them:
"I was an U.S. Army Captain when I attained an MBA at the Fisher College of Business in 2009. Since then I have traveled to Germany, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Korea, the United Kingdom, and the Northwestern Territories of Canada. At each location I gained experience, confidence, and learned a little bit more about myself. There is NO substitute for such experience. And while we've achieved our goal, imagine what the next gift could accomplish? Over 60% of our students that want to pursue an international opportunity aren't able to do so because of the added expenses. Our goal is that every student that wants to gain global experience is able to say yes!

This week we're highlighting Jesse Wildman, who's serving on our team for the scholarship campaign. Jesse participated in the Freshman Global Lab - which is a lot like it sounds. Freshmen students travel abroad as a group and participate in a 'lab.' This includes visiting companies, hearing presentations, and even meeting local alumni. This is a popular trip and one that sets the stage for many students who wish to continue their global business education/travels. This is a bit of what Jesse had to share about the trip:
