We believe every student at Ohio State should have the opportunity to study abroad. Through these high-impact experiences, students of all majors develop important intercultural competencies, gain confidence, become more independent and increase their ability to communicate more effectively across cultural and linguistic boundaries.
International travel has been steadily resuming since the pandemic, and student interest and enthusiasm is at an all-time high. However, the cost of studying abroad is on the rise due to the continued volatility of the travel industry and inflation. International flights alone have increased approximately 20% over the last year.
The Office of International Affairs has launched this campaign to provide financial assistance to students studying abroad in spring and summer 2023. Your donation of any amount will help minimize the financial barriers for students and enable them to take advantage of these once in a lifetime international learning opportunities.
