Life is short and it's time to celebrate – it’s been 16 years since my breast cancer diagnosis!! Unfortunately over that same time, several friends and my sister also endured surgeries and treatment after hearing the words “you have breast cancer.” Great advances are being made every day in breast cancer treatment and I'm committed more than ever to raising money to fight this disease.

BENEFICIARY: The beneficiary of my event is the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. Why? Because the Stefanie Spielman Fund is devoted to advancing research in breast cancer and 100% of donations tied to my event goes directly to research at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James).

I'm proud to share last year’s event donation totaled an incredible $29,667! The highest year yet. This brings the 15-year donation total to over $158,000!!
SPEAKER: I’m thrilled to announce my featured speaker this year is Dr. Roman Skoracki, division chief for Oncologic Plastic Surgery at The James where he focuses on reconstruction for cancer patients, particularly microsurgery and surgical treatment for lymphedema. He also serves as medical director of the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center.

ONLINE SILENT AUCTION: October 15 through October 21. Winning bidders who attend the in-person event on October 22 can pick up their winnings that day! Watch for a post on my Facebook page, an update on the donation website and/or an email from me for the link to the online Silent Auction page. The packages are always awesome!!
