Description
The Ohio State Marion Emergency Student Relief Fund was established in 2021 to support students experiencing financial emergency situations. Awarded on a case-by-case basis, these funds help eligible students pay for unforeseen expenses and help remove barriers to academic success. Examples of unforeseen expenses which have been supported in the past are
- Emergency car repairs
- Medical bills
- Housing expenses such as rent or utilities
- Childcare
- A costly book or supply required for a course
- etc.
These funds may not be used to cover tuition or course fees. Students must apply and provide supporting documentation of their need.
This fund is 100% donor supported and sustained. As such, assistance can only be given based upon the funds available.
